Clement Onah, Abuja-

One time Senator  and former Secretary to the Rivers State Government,  Magnus Abe has disclosed that he would not be supporting his party’s  present candidate in Tonye Cole but would be on the ballot.

Abe stated this while speaking on a political programme on speaks Channels Television.
Abe stated this while responding to  a number of questions.
“No I will not support Tonye Cole, I think that is clear to everybody,” Abe also gave reasons on why he would not be backing Cole as he accused the Rivers APC candidate of not being a member of the APC as well as levelling a number of accusations against the Oil and Gas businessman.
“I am not part of how he became a candidate, he has not been part of our party to my knowledge, and he didn’t contribute anything to the establishment of the party. He has no record of service to our state.
“There is an allegation that over $55 million of Rivers State Government money was transferred to him by Rotimi Amaechi in a government in which I served and I didn’t even know about it. So how will I now go and support such a person to now take over the Government of Rivers State?” he added.
Abe was however confident that he would be on the ballot for the Brick House in March, 2023.
