Igboeli Arinze ,FCT- The Personal Assistant on New Media to President Muhammadu Buhari, Bashir Ahmad has denied the story put out by an online medium that he had been secretly employed as a senior manager in the Department for Petroleum Resources, DPR.

Bashir Ahmad in a tweet, debunked such a story as false in it’s nature stating that he had in any way received any letter of such nor was he in the knowledge of such an appointment.

Earlier this morning, an online medium had broken the story of Bashir’s appointment with the DPR in a manner similar to what Sahara Reporters had done over Mr. Tunde Sabiu Yusuf who the medium reported had been appointed as a director of the National Intelligence Agency, NIA.

The medium stated that Bashir was to be head of the National Production Monitoring System (NPMS) , and that it had confirmed this from four sources within the agency.

The Buhari administration despite it’s numerous good works has been accused of encouraging nepotism.
